Vibrant Double Room in Islington

Don’t book Negative: Extremely disappointing experience. The property looked nothing like the impression given by the photos on Booking.com. When I arrived, there was mess throughout the property and parts of it looked more like a construction site than guest accommodation. The overall condition was bad enough that I decided not to stay and paid for alternative accommodation elsewhere. When I contacted the property requesting a refund and provided photos, they refused. Their response was that some of the issues shown were in common areas and therefore were not their responsibility. Regardless of how those areas are classified, they were part of the property I encountered when arriving and were certainly not what I expected based on the listing. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering staying here look carefully at recent guest reviews and photos rather than relying solely on the advertised images. I travel regularly and don’t leave reviews like this lightly, but the difference between what was advertised and what I actually encountered was significant. Had the property been accurately represented, I would never have booked it.
